Virginia Grainger partners with the Okanogan Kiwanis on a monthly recognition called Terrific Kids. Terrific Kids is a student recognition program that promotes character development, self-esteem, and perseverance. 

Terrific is an acronym meaning:

Thoughtful- Enthusiastic- Respectful -Responsible -Inclusive -Friendly -Inquisitive -Capable

The students who receive this award receive a certificate, button pin, pencil and bookmark with TERRIFIC KID on them.

This program along with our “Pawsitive” program makes our Virginia Grainger students Terrific.
